Rental homes and workplaces need different coordination
A landlord request often involves an occupier, a managing agent and a separate person authorising the work. A shop, studio or office request is more likely to depend on trading hours, staff access and whether a fixture can be taken out of use. Keeping those pathways separate makes the first description more useful. Use the landlord page for tenanted homes, communal access and keyholder planning. Use the small-business page when the issue affects customer facilities, staff areas, a kitchenette or day-to-day use of commercial premises.
- Landlord: note tenant contact, permission and common-entry access
- Business: note opening hours, site contact and operational impact
- Either route: state whether water is active, isolated or uncertain
